WHAT IS OWN THE FRAME?

Own the Frame is a 6-week immersive filmmaking course designed for actors who are ready to stop waiting for permission and start authoring their careers.

In this hybrid program, you will create a 3–5 minute micro-short film that showcases your authentic actor brand — professionally shot, edited, and ready for casting submissions, festivals, and self-promotion.

This is not a theory class.
This is a career-moving production experience guided by an award-winning filmmaker who has done this — and taught others to do it — successfully.

You will leave this course with:

  • A finished short film you own

  • A deeper understanding of your artistic identity

  • A repeatable process for creating your own work

  • Industry-ready assets that actually move the needle

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR

This course is for actors who:

  • Are tired of waiting to be chosen

  • Want to create work that reflects who they truly are

  • Are ready to step into authorship and leadership

  • Want tangible material for casting, festivals, and press

  • Are willing to commit to both creative and production accountability

All levels welcome. Actors must be 18+.

WHAT YOU WILL CREATE

  • Write, act in, and produce a 3–5 minute micro-short film

  • Work with scene partners/accountability partners

  • Leave with a festival strategy + submission plan

Your final film can be used for:
