Rebekah Wiggins is a passionate award-winning writer, director, producer, intimacy coordinator and a certified Chubbuck Acting Technique teacher who tells female centric stories showcasing various ethnic, religious, and sexual orientations.

As a flimmaker, she's created 22 short films, a webseries and two feature films. Her most recent feature, IRIS, premiered at 2019 San Fran Indie Fest and was later nominated for awards at the 2019 London International Film Festival and the 2019 Madrid International Film Festival for Best Actress, Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Story.

Rebekah has been a sought after Chubbuck Acting Technique teacher for the past five years in the states of California, New Mexico and Colorado. As founder of Southwest Scene Works, Wiggins’ acting students have booked roles on Longmire, Better Call Saul, Shot Caller, The Night Shift, Priceless, Gold, Highly Functional, 2 Years of Love, Preacher, Villa Capri, Monster's of God, Independence Day: Resurgence, Godless, Roswell, Interrogation, Deputy, and Tales from the Loop!

Specializes in :

- Female centric stories with a focus on themes of unconditional love between women (sisters, mother/daughter, grandmother/ granddaughter, lovers) roots and family. Her filmmaking guides the audience to a deeper understanding of each other and the human condition.

As a teacher, she brings in various Guest Directors for her students ranging from casting directors to directors to producers. These Chubbuck Guest Directors are mindfully chosen by Rebekah to showcase underrepresented populations in the film community (female, various ethnicities, LGBTQ+ etc.). Her goal is to connect students with working professionals in order to enhance job opportunities.

- Connection and collaboration with students. Rebekah is not only a certified Chubbuck Acting Technique Teacher but is also an on set Intimacy Coordinator. This unique combination of skills helps her to connect with artists in an accelerated sincere way and creates space for innovative transformative collaboration, while keeping actors both emotionally and physically safe.

Currently, she is in post for two vignettes she wrote/produced/directed remotely for the upcoming feature film, AFTER MASKS. These vignettes were BOTH shot remotely and/or under Covid-19 Safety Guidelines.


Rebekah’s students have had 470+ MAJOR BOOKINGS since 2015. Many have gone on to win incredible accolades for their work, including TWO Emmys and a Genie Award!
